Butte Valley Cabins

The story with the ceiling is that there was a guy working at putting plywood on the inside rafters when I stopped by the Geologist Cabin on Dec 30. He had a pickup, a generator, quite a few tools and mentioned he had been working on the cabins for some time. I believe he said he was from Riverside, but his name escapes me.
As you work with the Park Service, I was curious, Drifter. What do they make of all this construction, resoration, camping in cabin's activity. Do you think they'll ever mention it to the folks stopping in the visitor center?
