On 8/23 I tried to drive Steele Pass south from the Eureka Sand Dunes. The road leading from the dunes to the first narrows was pretty rough, but doable. Once I reached the point where the road starts to narrow between the rock walls (Dedeckera Canyon), it was impassable. The road has been almost completely washed away. I hope the park service still maintains this road, because as of a week ago, it needs some serious work.
