Check out the Park Service master plan for Hwy 190. CalTrans "helped" divert the water off the "normal" course and down across private property (Golden Canyon) for just such natural and predictable events.

The park service wants to re-divert the water flow back down 190 and past the Inn. On to newly designated Tribal lands....good thing that the new 50 houses have not be installed / lived in.
