Escape from Death Valley map wanted

I am looking for the route William Manly took from Utah to DV and his escape route. I have read his book a few times and want to learn more. I have also done some searches for maps with no luck. I am looking for a modern map with the best estimated route. The story is inspiring for anyone looking for a good read. The book is Death Valley in 49.
