Its time to stop the computer chipping and see if we can help stop the bulldozing of that big house. If that happens, the end result is a pile of rubble, and a tax bill to Mrs Hall. The swanlady response is lengthy and hard to follow, but some parts I understand. I have met Hiker Bill and he is a fine man. He wants to take nothing away from a claim holder, especially swan lady. He stepped in to remove trash from the place after vandals destroyed most of the front. The clean appearance got it removed from the public nusiance list. As for the BLM sign, I never saw it nor do I know of what that agency does, or its policies. A cabin that has a clean look will be less likely to be damaged by vandals. There are several groups of volunteers in the desert, trail groups etc..and 99.9 percent of them do not sleep in the cabins they fix up. What can be done to help save this cabin from destruction?
