Is there anyway I could help to save your home? I was at the home that I believe to be the swan-off 190 and it has a basement thing that is partially filled with water? This is a very strong and well built structure. We did not go in and nobody answered the door but it looked very clean and cared for. Some teenagers were shooting 22s about a mile west of the house but they left when we arrived and they seemed to be responsible.I would hate to see the BLM tear this down. It is close to the highway and accessible to 2 wheel drive vehicles. Maybe you can donate the rear building for the campers and you manage the front house as a volunteer? Anything to save it.
The BLM is a big agency that has to manage many thousands of square miles. You dont always get a fair fight, and there are no rules that say the Government has to be fair. Ask any native American about the BLM and see what they lost.
