For those who check after this pont in time, the answer is yes.
Steel Pass to Eureka Valley sand dunes campground. South Eureka Valley Road to Big Pine-Death Valley Road. BP-DV road to Crankshaft Crossing. Defined road left at Crankshaft Crossing east to California/Nevada state line, where there will ne a DVNP sign and the road will immediately improve. You can get to Gold Point via two ways at this point. The road will enter Tule Canyon and split again. 1.) Continue up Tule Canyon past ruins of Roosevelt City, where the maintained road will exit the canyon (bypass of substantial 1990s placering operation) and onto Lida Valley. Follow road past corral and windmill and turn left onto maintained road running right (east). Follow road to Gold Point. Or, 2.) Take road turning right shortly after entering Tule Canyon. This road will double back and enter Oriental Wash. Take road north past ruins of Stateline ghost town, cross over head of canyon, drop down into Gold Point.
Be mindful that Esmeralda County grader crews often like to change the course of the road now and then, but every year they all are graded to fine standards. Basically any maintained road in the region will get you to Gold Point once inside Nevada.
