Military Crashes in Saline Valley

Hiking cross country in Saline always yields discoveries. In October 1999 near the Lippincott and Saline Valley road intersection I stumbled across a crashed military jet (Harrier, I think), minus engine and cockpit, all unguarded. It appeared I was the first civilian to find this, for there were interesting parts everywhere, electronic boxes, mechanicals, etc. but no evidence that others had been there. There was no crash crater, so I guess it crashed elsewhere in the valley but relocated there for removal (by truck?). A week later it was gone. I began to think there might be more crashes in Saline Valley than get reported. (Bill Mann described A-6 wreckage in Grapevine Canyon.) There must be some chronicle of all recent jet crashes in the Valley (like the past 25 years). Does anyone know where this Harrier jet, whose wreckage I found, actually crashed? Have there been other recent crashes in Saline Valley, I wonder?
