For any of you interested - I wrote a little ghost story about a little incident that happened with one of the resident cats up at Cerrp Gordo when I was staying up there preparing for Jody Stewart's Memorial in May. We published 100 copies of Ghost Bag Kitty of Cerro Gordo ourselves - 50 of them are on sale up at the museum/Beaudry store at Cerro Gordo. Also have 20 copies up at Jawbone Station. Myrt at Jawbone is selling them there for $2.50. I'm not sure what Roxie is selling them for at Cerro Gordo. One hundred per cent of the money goes to Cerro Gordo for further restorations. The booklet not only tells about Skinny's ghostly experience - includes a brief history of Cerro Gordo & a bit about Jody's memorial. If it goes over well, we'll have more printed up. Myrt said she sold two yesterday!

Jawbone Station, by the way, is always a great place to take a break when traveling. They do have a complete bookstore with wonderful books on all of the areas we all like to go to, and they carry maps. Whoever is manning the station is always willing to help with information and emergencies, as well. I'm including a link to the Friends of Jawbone website here for you. You can purchase the Friends of Jawbone OHV map online, I believe.
