I was in DVNP last year and asked a few questions at Furnace Creek and got almost no help as well. Mostly, "I don't know" or "I'm not sure." I'd like to hear: "I don't know, but let me find that out for you. I'll be right back!" I've read 10 books about DV and the local area. Heck, I bet I know more than some of the people who get paid to know that stuff!
