North of Death Valley Junction on the Nevada/California state line is Longstreet's Casino. It is only a few years old and modern. Don't know prices, probably typical of Nevada small casinos.

Another alternative is Beatty, prices are reasonable.

The most probable snow possibilities are on roads above 4,000 feet. Occassionally there is lingering snow below this point, but snow generally doesn't stay long and road crews have removed anything sticking to paved roadways at this elevation. This pretty much leaves out roads in the Shoshone area as danger spots. All front wheel drive cars that I've owned do quite well in snow as long as they are driven prudently.
