hi all,

my family is planning a trip to death valley (mid to late december), and we're looking for some recommendations. we're in a saturn sedan, so obviously no 4WD :^) we'd like to avoid snow, if possible.

what's shoshone like? can we get good lodging, supplies, etc. there? are we likely to see snow on salsberry pass? we'll likely be driving up from 15, what's ibex pass like?
