I drove a dump truck out there hauling a backhoe on a trailer when that job was done. The deal was that NPS would dig the holes and the contractor would set in the vault toilets. I know someone who knows what that job costs but I'm not sure they'll tell. The company that did it came from Oregon with trucks and heavy equipment. I'll bet $10-20K is very conservative for that job. After I dropped off the truck and back hoe I was flown back to Furnace Creek. I thought the runway at Saline would break the wings off the plane! While the NPS crews were out there they buried the painted rock, RIP....
