Dear friends,The old DVTalk campsite served us well since 2001. Over time, however, our one-of a-kind, custom programmed message board has become archaic and cumbersome, and it lacks the standard features of other, more contemporary message boards. Therefore, the time has come to move DVTalk to a more modern, better equipped campsite. All visitors wishing to post must register. Thanks for maintaining the place. I wish I could get out there more often, but our upcoming move and house fix-ups have put a severe damper on my travels of late. Hopefully, but mid next year, that will behind me, and I can spend some extended time out there.

I went back by myself ( I feaked out and figured this was NOT a job for someone by themselves, after going up there) and the roof is torn over the bed room again. Water is going to ruin the nice poster in the bed room, as you can see light through the roof above it.
I put about 100+nails in the lower inside walls, as they were not nailed right. My arm was killing me, beer helps that.
The entire thing is like 100 % better, what you get , eh.
Ect, love the place, did way more work, but there it is......Saw one person the entire time, he was really funny, good times.

wish I was in better shape to spend time at the cabin and my friend from Independence could do a lot of work on it(retired)everyday is the week end. The last time I was there was 2 years ago the road reminded me of The Ho Chi Minh trail in the 60's . Most likely will not see it again. State Linor Gold what is good cabin ti visit and Gold Point. Thanks for the update. It would be a shame to see the roof fail.
