Dude, you and your ilk are sounding a bit sensitive these days, maybe you're afraid of what historians will say about this period in our nation's development/regression? Allow me to go slow, and use a numbered list to aid your comprehension in understanding Mr. Johnson's comment:
(1) The current administration has cut funding to the National Park Service, no disputing that.
(2) Extra funding, like hundreds of millions, is going to support the war and rebuilding Iraq's infrastructure. Can you dispute that?
(3) Do you think, maybe, there's a cause-and-effect going on here?

And how are you gonna feel when they expand China Lake further north, close more areas, in support of the war effort? With the closing of Vieques, maybe we need more bombing ranges. Remember, Bush said this war would be "indefinite" in length, as in "without an end," so anything is possible.

But I am willing to continue this debate via email, if you are too embarassed to get slammed publically for your blind support of a basically evil, greedy administration. Who was it that first said "Beware the military-industrial complex?" Eisenhower? That guy must have been a nut (not!).

Woof.
