CHP is reporting that about 20 vehicles may be trapped on HWY 127 about in the Amargosa River crossing area/Dumont Dunes or thereabouts. At 9:33PM CHP also reported that there were reports from the Inyo Co. Sheriff and the NPS that cars were "floating by" probably in the HWY 190/Badwater Road area - by the FC Inn; unknown if the vehicles were occupied. They also previously (8:30PM) reported one foot of water on the road there. Doesn't sound good.
