I just read the complete minutes of 7-21-04 on Jawbone.org. Of course, I am furious again. BLM can make our claims invalid and "take" them away from us if we have any non-compliance issues. At the meeting of BLM and the Friends of Jawbone, (the BLM employed volunteers,) they decided to cite the owners for unsecured buildings violations. The problem is they (BLM) may only notify the owners of this by posting this information in some obscure newspaper someplace, without the owners knowledge. Some of you that are "really" concerned about the land and structures, should go out there and secure the buildings. Take a camera along and take a photo by holding up a newspaper to prove the day the work was completed. You do not even have to have yourself in the picture. Do this because some of the BLM employed "phony" concerned citizens, may "accidentally" cause them to become unsecure again the next day. In my unsolicited opinion, this is the only way to save them, until BLM comes up with another way to "take" ownership of them.
