David, you're forgetting what happens if a ranger spots your dog off a leash. I've got a story about that.... Of course I failed the attitude test by asking if he was serious, that I had to drive 30 miles to BLM land to walk my dog.
But really, shooting the snake? Give me a break. You guys are so tough, so macho, that you have to shoot a little ol' snake instead of just relocating it? Or maybe we're talking about the Mojave Hoop Snake, that forms itself into a ring so it can roll after people of speeds in excess of 25mph?
