She is off by about 27 years if the article is correct. The Volunteers went there to prevent the BLM from tearing down the abandoned and vandalized property. They picked up glass(2002)and removed several hundred beer bottles. The Swan owner may have a valid claim of anger towards the BLM but who doesnt?
Previous posts relate that other Inyokern shacks and trailers were removed for drug manufacturing.The swan was not one of them. Just another fact twisted to help the story. If she would lighten up and work with these people, she could go to the house undisturbed. With nobody there, it is in sad shape, and is yearning for a bulldozer.
