Mrs Hall,
You are missing the point from the scooterdude. The cabin fixers camp in the desert and all have homes and jobs elsewhere. 99 percent of the time they dont even stay indoors. They have many cabins to fix elsewhere and enjoy the back country- rough 4x4...two hours of rock hopping to get to places.I have met several over the years and they are very nice. If scootertrash can walk there from a paved road in a few minutes, maybe they were helping you save a house the BLM declared a nuisance. It sounds like they tried to help you by cleaning up to avoid the bulldozer that BLM ordered. Why dont you take up the offer from him to save the house? I live in Bishop and never saw anything in the press other than the removal of Illegal trailers in the Lone pine area.
