However, I know that the Vargo's might have along people new to the sport with stock SUVs. As you likely know, SUVs have grown soft over the years and ground clearances have dropped. A stock SUV will likely have problems on these two sections and hang up. New drivers will likely be quite worried or scared. I run a stock Toyota Tacoma with TRD off road package with a rear locker and BFG All Terrains. I had no problems over this section shown on the link, even with the rear locker disengaged (although the truck had to work at it). This section wasn't bad at all before late July of 2003, but three major flashfloods in this region (which also closed the highway below all three times) washed out the gravel between the bedrock, exposing the high spots.
