The pond was full less than 1.5 years ago. The pipe has been disconnected and the pond is dry. I believe the pond is larger than you remember. I have a photo of me standing in the pond and the sides are up to my chest. It is oval shaped with stairs at one end, and I would guess about 12 to 15 feet long and 8 to 10 feet wide. >Jean and I are reviewing a book wherein the author I believe that *Ox Jump Falls* is in Redlands Canyon (parallel to Goler Wash, and several miles North). We attempted to find it once, and rudely ran into Briggs mine instead! Approaching from the other direction, we examined every dry fall downhill from Redlands Spring (Manly described Ox Jump Falls as being *just below* Redlands Spring). We took photos of each fall. None matched the hand drawings done later (and appear in Manly's famous book), but we think we know which one it is. We believe that the shape of the falls have changed in the 150 years since. >LeRoy
