That is the year of my army ambulance. Too bad the range sucks. Six mpg and a 45 mph cruise kills a trip to Death Valley. I have a later dodge military truck and if you do the math on the gearing, low crawl is a 73 to 1 gear ratio. Once had a fuel feed problem close to home and just put 'er in low and it idled home just fine at about 1 mph.
