A guy at work has a 1980 era Toyota that's very rough - rolled with semi-squashed roof, no windows except cracked windshield, driver door don't close fully, etcetera. He uses it all over the Panamints and beats the crap out of it. He loves it because it's already messed up, so don't care if it rolls down a cliff. He says it's very dependable.
