Amen to that, EK!

Re: Food at the hotel in Cerro Gordo - You can go downstairs in the American Hotel and look around at the restorations that have been done but there are no rooms for rent there, nor is there food served. You can arrange overnight stays in the Belshaw House or the bunkhouse, but you have to bring your own food and cook it in the kitchens they each have. Of course a week and a half from today if you smell food at the American Hotel, it either means the ghost of Alphonse Benoit is in there or my husband is cooking for caretakers John & Roxie and I.

So far as Skidoo...haven't been there in awhile, but when I do go I always keep a look out for signs of the tommyknockers in the mines.

Airshows? Well, a few weeks ago at Coso Junction we watched quite an air show for about an hour. Also saw some military jets flying low over my son's house in Sunland on the 4th of July, which excited our new pup, Maggie Moore. I'm assuming they did a flyby for the Rose Bowl celebration.

Haven't been to Chicken rock, South pass or Panamint City - so somebody else will have to help out with that. Anybody other than David Wright and I go see the Death Valley Brill car at Laws?
