You know if every single visitor to Death Valley took a rock home with them...it wouldn't change the Valley one scintilla. Sometimes those of authority need to add a little common sence to their daily duties. Letting some kids pack out a few memory stones will go further in preserving this Valley then any hard ass letter of the law Ranger treating some family with a rock like criminals. I know it's not in any manuals anywhere, but step back and take in the big picture and you'll really guarantee the preservation of this Valley.
