I recommend that you get one that is WAAS capability for enhanced accuracy. See link below to Garmin product comparison chart.
Note that of the eTrex series, only the Legend, Vista and Venture are WAAS capable. The other eTrex are not.
The entire Rino series of GPS radios is also WAAS enabled.
The III Plus is also WAAS enabled, but the II Plus is not, nor is the 12XL.
The V is WAAS enabled, as is the GPS 72 and 76, and the entire GPSMap series of units.
If the unit is going to be frequently used in your vehicle, I recommend one that accepts an external antenae, and preferably one that uses a standard BNC connector, such as the Garmin V.
