Not hot springs, but Cottonwood Springs is a pretty interesting place - although I haven't been there since 1990. Has anyone recently done the road from Stovepipe into Cottonwood Canyon, then the hike from road's end? I also tried to get there from the Northern Panamint Valley, but couldn't find a reasonable way over the ridgeline other than hiking south from Hunter Mtn road.
