Wildrose was still pumping gas as late as 1970, as I stopped there in spring that year to fill the gas tank. As I recall gas was cheaper than the Furnace Creek (then Fred Harvey) gas. The owners (or leaseholders) had a huge collection of old Auto Club road signs lining the patio area (now you know where some of those went). The store sold the usual curio stuff and ice cream, etc.
