tami, my friends and i used to make the pilgrimage from the bay area down to the mohave to see the score desert race series. the first race of the series was in january and the roads were always in good condition. we've been down in that country at all times throughout the year and roads are always the same. unless there's a major storm event i don't see them changing noticeably.
