I could be wrong, but............I always had the immpression that the original post was made to drum up customers and to see if any money could be made in DVNP. Take alook at the first sentence in the post. Rather than saying that there's not enough demand to make it financially feasible, it's easier to blame the Park Service and use them as an excuse.
Just my gut feeling... too bad to.
