How are the Panamints (temperature wise) in the Summer?

I know the lapse rate is 3.5 degrees for every 1,000 feet gained in elevation but I'm too lazy right now to look up the elevations of peaks in the Panamints. Does anyone have an approximate high temperature for the area in the summer? I'm used to being in DV in the spring and fall to avoid the massive heat but figured the mountains (Panamints/Telescope) might be doable in the summer. Comments?
