Our friend and colleague, Paul Condon, 54, died at his
post on May 13, 2004, at the Staff House in Atolia.
Paul was found in his trailer Thursday afternoon.
According to the EMTs, Paul died early that morning.
Paul's wish was that he be buried with the
"old-timers" in the cemetery in Johannesburg, and that
he will.

My very best regards to all.

Folks,
I wanted to pass this along to you all. Paul was involved with several research projects in and around Randsburg as well as the "Shady" Project on China Lake.

I was fortunate enough to meet Paul and on several occasions, joining him for lunch at the Silver Dollar Saloon in Red Mountain. He was a regular poster and reader here on this board using the pen name Desert Leprechaun.

With his passing, we have lost another historian with a passion of finding out what is fact and fiction. He will be dearly missed.

As more information is available about his services, I will be posting it here.

God Be With You Paul…
