Lippencott Mine Road

I am travelling to DV in less than two weeks. Can anyone tell me if using a Jeep Wrangler would be suitable to travel on the Lippencott Mine Rd. from Route 190 up to the Racetrack? Also, what would be a realistic amount of time to expect it to take to get from Route 190, past the Racetrack, and up to the Scotty's Castle area? If I am not able to get the Wrangler, I might be in something like a Ford Explorer - should I keep that type of SUV off Lippencott?
