We didn't go to the Keynot mine. I seem to recall from an old posting that there is an intermittent spring in Keynot canyon a little above the mine (here is the quote I found in an old posts: "Keynot Well us 0.5 mile up Keynot Canyon off the trail and is sometimes dry; Keynot Well is the only known water source in the area of the Beveridge Ridge cabin and it is sometimes dry. "
