I have an RV with vertically spaced bare screw heads in the various tanks to monitor liquid levels. I'm used to false "FULL" indications for the black and grey water tanks due to conduction thru clinging debris between screw heads. However, I was initally confused by a "FULL" indication for my potable drinking water tank after two showers! I deduced the false reading was caused by conduction thru the condensation on the tank's wall from the conductive Death Valley mineral water I filled up with at a DV campground potable water faucet. No problem when filled at home. CAUTION: Don't always trust your RV potable water tank level after filling from probable mineralized water sources.
