I disagree that solution 6 is the best. I don't see why a minimum standard of civility and language cannot be maintained. The webmaster already deletes messages he finds offensive, it is just that the bar is very high. This is not to restrict flow of ideas and discussions, but to allow people to post without fear of personal and vulgar attacks.
