The tower is visible from the trail at the top of Pleasant. The tower was not there in 1990 when I hiked to the top of Porter. At least I don't remember it.
If it is a weather station, I wonder why they need the huge tower. If it is a comm tower, seems Rogers would be a better place (road access, power, existing facilities)
