Oriental Wash to Saline Turnoff, Christmas 2004

Trail Report for: Death Valley-Big Pine Road

Okay, the obligatory Crankshaft Crossing pic!

Washboard, Washboard, Washboard. Some of the heaviest and worst that I've ever seen. Made me very glad that I only dropped in at Oriental Wash instead of driving all the way from Ubehebe crater.

There a couple of places where the road has washed (and not severely), but all are marked. If you see a traffic cone (or anything else) in the middle of the road - SLOW DOWN!
