Back Country & 4x4 BACKCOUNTRY & 4X4

Saline Christmas 2004

Trail Report for: Saline Valley

The Inyo road crews have done an excellent job regrading the route, though washboard persists across the valley floor.

Remember that this is one of the most remote areas in the contiguous-48. At certain times of year it may be days before another vehicle passes!

I exited Saline via the North Pass and found the road in good condition. The road closed signs were posted as usual.
