Trail Report of 10/4/03

Posted by Last Chance Rand on November 12, 2003 at 12:13:25:

Trail Report for: Pleasant Canyon/South Park Canyon Loop

Again ascended South Park Canyon, this time with some fifteen Land Rovers in tow. One shredded a tire in the loose screen near the top of the canyon narrows, making for a difficult and dangerous tire change.

While lunching at the Stone Cabin we watched BLM rangers descend the cliff route in their full size Expedition. However, we opted not to cross, given the number of us, and the lack of time to complete the loop.
