Trail Report - 1/1/2003

Trail Report for: Tucki Mine Road

This was our first trip into the Tucki Mine. The turn off from the Emmigrant-Wildrose road is not marked, so it's easy to miss. Also, it starts off going down the wash, which was not intuitive. We found the road to be in good condition. Unfortunatly, the cabin at the mine site is starting to get trashed. There is a great little side trail that climbs up the hills to the north just a half mile or so before getting to the Mine. Very nice views from up there! Just be careful as that road has lots of sharp rocks.
