Trail Report for: Death Valley-Big Pine Road

Driving from Big Pine to Eureka Dunes, two things have changed.

1. PAVED SECTIONS. Some patching has occurred, and there were many survey markers on the verge - indicating more repaving in the future?

2. UNPAVED SECTIONS. One Word - WASHBOARD! We've always talked about Saline Valley having the worst washboard in the park, but let me tell you, the new honors go to this road! It was the worst I had ever seen, anywhere in the park.
