Trail Report from 3/23/02

Trail Report for: Steel Pass - Saline Valley to Eureka Valley

This from a reliable source:

"(Due to a good reason - Ed.) we left at 3:00 P.M. for the Eureka Dunes over Steel Pass. This was also an enjoyable segment (although that is too late in day to leave) with some close body damage calls for the Defender 110. I agree completely with the warning for long wheel base vehicles to avoid this route. It is, however, ideal for a Land Rover 88."
