Trail Report for: Hunter Mountain / Hidden Valley

We took the Hidden Valley/Hunter Mountain road from
Teakettle Junction to the Saline Valley Road, then
out to Hwy190 and down to Panamint Springs. Again,
this was our first trip along this route so I can't
compare to other trips. We found the road to generally
be in very good condition. It is clear that snow
and mud can easily cause the route to become difficult
or unpassable. The side trip to Hunter's cabin is
well worth it. We saw only a single other vehicle
along the entire route until we reached the Saline
Valley Road.
