Dear friends,The old DVTalk campsite served us well since 2001. Over time, however, our one-of a-kind, custom programmed message board has become archaic and cumbersome, and it lacks the standard features of other, more contemporary message boards. Therefore, the time has come to move DVTalk to a more modern, better equipped campsite. All visitors wishing to post must register. If you were previously a registered user of DVTalk, we transferred your DVTalk Nickname and the email address that you used as your Login Name -- but not your password. Seems to be a common issue lately. In addition, even if on the flat, some folks don't understand to just pull out where there is a spot, regardless of direction.

Uphill traffic has the right away in Calif also. The problem is, the big city people don't understand that, or even how to drive a 2 way road that is one lane wide.

Silver canyon has lots of traffic. We started in from Bishop side and ran into people coming down. They did not want to make it easy for me to pass. IN NEVADA we alway give uphill traffic the road. When I had the Taco had to work the clutch and brake in 4 low to get going up the hill again a first for me.Wasnt the rig just the road. My friends in BIHOP say to come down is the best Good Luck GBA!!SVJ DAV

Great photo! Thanks for keeping this forum alive over the summer. Did you drive Silver Canyon? We considered doing it in our FJ last year but the trip was too short.
