I agree, get the military thing!!! Not everyone in the military carries a gun, and with your degree you could get in to a special fied, one BIG thing to remember, stay in the reserves, it all boils down to retirement and IF you were to get on perminent with the NPS, you will get the military retirement as well. Firefighter, Law Enforcement retire after 20 years at 50 others take a little longer with the NPS. I am retire Forest Service firefighter and did work for the NPS early in my carreer, I am a 5 point vet as well. e-mail me with any questions.
