I don't care what the room is like, as long as it is decent and the restaurant is good. We just want a great location for hiking, since we only have 4 days & want to max out our hiking opportunities (avoiding mid-day) in May. And I expect we will be eating dinner there each night, being too tired to drive anyplace. We have never been to DV, and there just doesn't seem to be a lot of lodging options. Just didn't want to end up in a bad location or a "flea bag". We usually rent cabins. Also, price is not an issue, the lodging seems to be relatively cheap compared to a lot of national parks. Thanks! Janel
