I agree with LCR. A lot of things that happen in the R/C Field Office are difficult to explain, even to some of us that have regular interaction with them. I do support the Adopt-a-cabin program and its support of preservation, but as always when using volunteers, you don't always get what you were looking for.
I fear in the case of the White Swan, so much has gone astray, there is probably no way to retrieve an equitable solution. And I KNOW that ego's within the BLM won't tolerate an admittance of wrongdoing.
