Your best guess might be a park map in PDF format (http://www.nps.gov/deva/ppmaps/devamap1.pdf) and a peek at any large gallery for inspiration, and then figuring out which parts of the park look interesting for photography purposes and which of these you can reach on your schedule and mode of transportation...
I've linked to my gallery below - you can look at about 950 Death Valley pictures, either in chronological order or restricted by date and location (the latter might be the most useful in your case).
